04/04/2006: "Peekaboo"

Once again,it has been awhile. The shop is buisier than I could ever imagine. Most nights are past 7:00 pm.Success at last. ![]()
Eggs are hatching and we are getting eggs every day.We hatched out two Elongateds as well as six Grandis, both our first hatches for those species. Our Triporcatus eggs are looking great as are the Nicaraguan Sliders. We just hope our Callagurs and Orlitia cooperate.
No eggs yet.The North American woods are gravid and rooting around as are a bunch of others.I pumped out the Pinkbelly pond to find about fifteen full of eggs:hehe
ne of our Goldenthreads has eggs as well. The Texas Maps are breeding but no eggs as of yet,but the Southern Painteds are starting to lay now.We got our first clutch of Reeves eggs ever,it was pretty cool.Another WaterlandTub success story, thanks Pete ![]()
Based on the success as well as time constraints with the auto repair buisness, the only turtles we will sell are either what hatches here,or possible culls from the collection. As time progresses,we should have just about everything covered minus common redears.I used to buy the Rio Grand Redears from Al Weinberg, but now I have a group of around forty turtles on breeding loan to my good bud Louie in Lantana,Florida.I problably wont have any this year, but definately next year.We have decent size groups of many fairly common turtles like Razorbacks,Eastern Muds,Eastern Paints,Three Strip Muds,Western Paints,Southern Paints,Texas Cooters,Texas Maps, and a bunch of others.
So sit back and check the galleries regularly. As summer approaches I hope to ad an incredible amount of unorganized pictures from out collection. One day we will figure out a better system, but they call me TurtlePimp, not ComputerPimp![]()
Take Care,Andy
